Sagging runs
Usually loose or underspaced hangers, sometimes rotten fascia underneath. Spikes get replaced with hidden hangers screwed into sound board.
Pulling away from the house
Ice weight and soft fascia strip fasteners. We reattach to solid wood and flag fascia repair if the board is already gone.
Overflow in rain
Can be pitch, too few outlets, or a clog. We do not caulk an overflow problem — we find why water is not leaving the run.
Downspout problems
Crushed elbows, disconnected sections, and outlets that dump at the foundation. Reattach, resize, or extend as needed.
After a cleaning still leaks
If cleaning did not stop the drip, the metal or joint failed. That is a repair or replacement conversation, not another flush.
How we decide repair vs replacement
One failed corner on a ten-year-old seamless system is almost always a repair. Four open seams on sectional gutters from a big-box install is usually cheaper to replace than to chase year after year. We show you photos of what we find and give both numbers when both options are real — then you choose.
Repairs are scheduled within a few days in normal seasons. Storm damage and active leaks that threaten the foundation get priority the same way our emergency repair page describes. Work we perform carries a warranty; if the rest of the system is too far gone, we say so before you pay for a patch that will not last.
After the repair
Stop the leak. Keep the system honest.
We reseal joints, reset hangers, and reattach downspouts so water leaves the roof the way the system was meant to. If cleaning or guards would prevent the next call, we say so.
Active storm damage or a hanging section is handled as emergency work — secure first, permanent fix next. Everything else is a normal repair window with the same licensed crew.
