A coil of painted aluminium is loaded
The colour you picked arrives as a flat strip on a reel, finished at the mill. Nothing is painted on site, which is why the finish does not chip along the run.
Our machine
We run a New Tech Machinery MACH II 5/6 portable roll-forming machine on a trailer. A coil of painted aluminum goes in one end, and a continuous gutter cut to your exact length comes out the other.

Why it matters
Sectional gutters from a store have a joint every 10 feet. Each joint is sealed with caulk that dries, shrinks, and eventually leaks — especially in Minnesota, where freeze-thaw cycles tear seams apart.
A seamless gutter from our machine has no joints along the straight runs. The only connections are at corners and downspouts, which are crimped and sealed with high-grade sealant.

Seamless vs sectional
Seamless gutters are not always the cheapest option at the register. But when you factor in fewer leaks, longer life, and less maintenance, they are usually the better value for Minnesota homes.
The machine
A portable roll former that lives in our trailer. Aluminium coil goes in one end, finished gutter comes out the other — at your address, not in a warehouse.
Profiles
K-style 5" and 6"
The two residential standards. Six inch moves about 40% more water.
Material
.027 and .032 aluminium
Heavy gauge available for snow load and long runs.
Run length
Up to 100+ feet
Limited by your roofline, not by 10-foot sections.
Colours
19 factory finishes
Baked on at the mill — colour runs the whole length.
A shop-based fabricator has to cut runs to a length that fits a truck. That is where the joints come from — not from the design, but from transport. Bringing the machine to the house removes that limit entirely.
It also means we form to the measurement taken that morning, off your actual fascia, rather than to a number written down a week earlier. Roofs are rarely as square as the plans suggest.
Coil to gutter
About a minute per length. Most homeowners come out to watch this part.
The colour you picked arrives as a flat strip on a reel, finished at the mill. Nothing is painted on site, which is why the finish does not chip along the run.
A series of shaped rollers bends the flat metal progressively into the K-style profile — the curve at the front, the flat back, the return lip that gives the run its rigidity.
The profile emerges already formed. There is no welding, no glue and no joining: the shape is made by bending, so the metal is unbroken along its whole length.
The run is cut to the length measured off your fascia that morning — to the foot, not rounded up to the nearest section.
End caps are sealed, corners mitred, and outlets punched where the downspouts will go. These are the only joints in the finished system.
The run goes up while it is still on the driveway trestle — it never gets stacked, transported or bent in transit.
Sixty seconds from coil to finished length. If you have ever wondered what you are paying for with seamless, this is it.
Why this machine here
The New Tech Machinery MACH II 5/6 is not a gimmick for the driveway show — it is how we keep joints off the long eaves that freeze and thaw all season.
Hardware-store sections meet every ten feet. Each joint is caulk and metal that expand at different rates. In Minneapolis and St. Paul that means spring leaks after a winter of ice loading — even when the gutters looked fine in October.
We load .027 or .032 aluminum in 19 factory finishes, form 5" or 6" K-style, and cut to the fascia measured that morning. The color matches corner to corner because it is the same painted strip.
Homeowners who want the full picture of install day can read how it works hour by hour. If you are comparing seamless to sectional on paper, the seamless vs sectional guide walks through cost and lifespan without the driveway demo.

No. It stays inside the trailer and the formed run comes out on trestles. The trailer sits on tyres like any vehicle — no jacks, no outriggers digging into asphalt.
Less than a lawnmower. The rollers turn slowly and the loudest moment is the cut at the end of each run, which lasts a second. Neighbours rarely notice.
Longer than almost any residential roofline — we are limited by what can be carried and lifted safely, not by the machine. A 60-foot run in one unbroken piece is routine.
Usually. Bring us a piece or a photo in daylight and we will match it against the 19 factory finishes. Exact matching of a faded 20-year-old run is not always possible, and we will say so rather than guess.
They leave with us. Aluminium offcuts are recycled — nothing goes in your bin and nothing gets left in the garden.
Downspouts come pre-formed in standard sizes; the roll former makes the horizontal runs. Elbows and outlets are fitted on site to point water where it needs to go.
