Shoppers comparing “micro-mesh,” “solid surface,” and helmet-style covers are usually looking at the same three ideas: fine screen, surface-tension hood, or simple perforated plastic. Here is how our installed options map to that language.
Fine mesh (often called micro-mesh in the trade) lets water through tiny openings while needles and seeds bridge across the top. This is the style we recommend most often under pines and mixed cover in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
